Year of the Gentleman?
All the Ne-Yo jokes aside, I’ve seen a dramatic rise in magazines and articles trying to rekindle the image of the gentleman. Ties and jackets, once thought of as office main stays, are making their way into the social scene. Men are opening doors for women, and wooing them with that classic Frank Sinatra Style… Of course without the mob ties… Maybe.
I for one am all for it! I love that the “nice” guys are crawling out from behind their desks, and putting those worn in boat shoes to good work. They’re becoming more assertive and taking hold of the person that they have inside. Rock that pocket square, and on occasion show some loves to those brightly colored Nike drunks.
